Join us for an Evening of Fine Dining

Exceptional elegance awaits you on October 19, 2017 in the Carolina Room at the River Grille, as for one evening only, it will be transformed into a Five Star Fine Dining Restaurant. Chef John and our food and beverage team have prepared an exquisite five course menu using only the best ingredients. All dishes will be cooked to perfection and an emphasis will placed on presentation and taste.

This event will be limited to the first 30 reservations and the deadline for reservations is October 14, 2017. Please call 391-4163 or stop by the River Grille to make your reservation.

First Course:
North Carolina free range Quail $10
Prosciutto wrapped fig stuffed Quail. Pan seared and topped with a dry white wine, pan dripping butter sauce.
Chilled Caribbean Lobster Tail with Vichyssoise puree topped with Caviar $12


Second Course:
Chilled White Asparagus $8
Blanched and chilled white Asparagus topped with a lemon-black pepper vinaigrette.
Field green salad $7
Roasted beets, macerated strawberries and diced heirloom tomatoes. Tossed in a blend of green leaf and Arcadian mixed greens. Served with a Granny Smith apple vinaigrette.

Third Course:
Raspberry Sorbet $2

Fourth Course:
Macadamia Encrusted Soft Shell Crab Tempura $25
Served over a bed of Carolina Gold risotto and Grilled jumbo Asparagus.
Pan Seared Peking Breast $26
Topped with a Virginia grown sour cherry sauce. Served over Sea Island red peas, with grilled jumbo Asparagus.

Grilled Lamb Rack With a Rosemary Lentil Dijonnaise $30
Topped with a mint béarnaise sauce and served with Sea Island red peas and grilled Jumbo Asparagus.
Aged Prime Beef Tenderloin $38
Topped with a green peppercorn, port demi glaze. Served with roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled jumbo Asparagus.


Fifth Course:
Crème Brule with Macerated Strawberries $7
Crème Brule topped with macerated strawberries and crème fraiche.
Grand Marnier Soufflé $9
Homemade Praline and Candied Pecan Ice Cream $6
