Its spring and time for a delicious fried chicken recipe for you to try. I first made this recipe in 1996, when I was at a restaurant in Charleston. At that time we used a recipe that was good but lacked the true southern flavor. I spent countless hours experimenting with my recipe. I tasted various other chef’s fried chicken and then developed what is shown below. You might say this is a lot of steps for fried chicken, but I learned that great Charleston style chicken with that rich flavor of home style southern comes from the love and effort that is put in the extra mile to make it the very best. I’ve refined this recipe over the years and this recipe is the final result of my culinary adventure and love of great fried chicken.
