2010 Men's Golf Association
The purpose of the Men’s Golf Association (MGA) is to foster and encourage the enjoyment of golf at Savannah Lakes Village. It also provides an atmosphere for players to brag about the highlights of their round of golf and/or commiserate with others about the wind, tough pin placements, and faulty equipment that caused them to have a poor round.

The MGA is open to all dues paying male members of Savannah Lakes Village with a valid USGA handicap. We play every Thursday and rotate monthly between the Monticello and Tara courses. Team and individual events are scheduled, along with periodic tournaments. The annual dues of $25 includes a kick off breakfast in mid to late February, a closing dinner at the end of November and membership in the Hole-in-One Club that provides a payout of $150 to lucky MGA members that have a valid ace.
During the off-season (from the end of November to the middle of February) the MGA is still active, but on a less formal basis. During this time the MGA encourages non-members to play with the group in order to meet the members and get a better understanding of how the association operates.
