Hickory Knob State Resort Park
Hickory Knob is the only resort in the S.C. State Park Service. Hickory Knob rests on rolling, wooded shoreline alongside the 70,000-acre Strom Thurmond Reservoir (Clarks Hill Lake) on the Savannah River: South Carolina’s “Feshwater Coast.” Hickory Knob is also a part of the Little River Blueway Outdoor Adventure area.
The park’s amenities include 18 holes of lakeside championship golf, tennis, skeet shooting and archery, a swimming pool for lodge guests, full-service restaurant and meeting facilities, more than 70 lodge rooms, 18 cabins, boat ramp, campgrounds and one of the state’s most popular mountain biking trails.
